Today we had a baby shower for Laura, our MOPS Assistant Coordinator.Laura and her family welcomed the newest member of their family on Saturday June 13th, Case William, weighing in at 10lbs 2oz and 21" long. We like to have baby showers for our new moms after the babies are born. This way it gives us a chance to meet the baby and give mom time to recover.
We had a good turn out and served a salad bar for dinner (which was a big hit).
Laura was able to stock up on lots of diapers, wipes, and some really cute new clothes. Thank you to all who came! Bambi, of course, made an amazing cake that copied the napkin that we used. Thank you to all who came early to help with food set up and who stayed after to help clean up and thank you to Phylis for the fun time putting it all together.
