We will be meeting again on November 18th. We will be sharing a Thanksgiving meal together (yes for Breakfast) and a time to fellowship, grow, and learn together as moms.
Better Moms Make a Better World! 1st and 3rd Wednesdays, 9:30 am - 11:45 am Child Care Provided.
The mission of MOPS International is to see No Mom Alone. But this season of life can be so busy and all-consuming that we can end up feeling quite alone. My prayer for this year is that we will be a warm, inviting place where moms of young kids can find community and tools to help us become great moms. I'm looking forward to our time together this year – time to laugh, unwind, and grow together.
A little about me: I am Mom to a beautiful one and a half year old (as of September). I moved to New England when I started college. My husband is a Dover native, and we love living in the Seacoast Area with our family and friends. I have a Master's in Biological Oceanography, and I'm an at-home mom, though I work occasionally from home in the field of GIS (ask sometime and I'll be happy to explain what that is). I love fishing and hiking and other things outdoors and I love creative projects of all sorts!
I look forward to meeting you!
I must say that this past meeting was one of my favorites. I laughed a lot and cried a little too. I enjoy getting to know new moms, it's great when they let loose and just be themselves. I love my pumpkin burner my house smelt like a pumpkin pie was baking in the oven all afternoon. Thank you Steering Leaders for an enjoyable meeting and time of sisterhood:) I'm looking forward to our Thanksgiving dinner, for BREAKFAST!!
ReplyDeleteI'm very glad that I had the last minute opportunity to join you girls last week. It was nice to meet all of you and I look forward to coming to future MOPS meetings as my schedule allows. I really felt welcomed and could sense the sisterhood among you. I feel like this could definitely be what is missing in my life right now. Staying home with 2 little ones can be so isolating at times! Thanks for such a warm welcome ladies :)
